PREVIEW ROUND 8 EUROPEAN F3 OPEN

Tatiana Calderon will end her first european season with the last round of The European F3 Open taking place in the Circuit de Catalunya, Barcelona this weekend.

After the last meeting that took place in Monza, Tatiana participate in the last two rounds of the Formula Reanult Alps, one of those races in this same scenario where she manage to fight from far back in the grid to end the race in the 14th position in agroup of 35 participants.

Besides this races, Tatiana made 2 days of prívate testing with her team Emilio de Villota Motorsport, working specificlly on the Dallara F312 car set up for this next meeting in Barcelona.

With 14 races complited in the European F3 Open, Tatiana, the only women participating in the main class, sits in ninth place in the championship with 38 points scored with seven top 10 finishes, including her best results , a 4th place finished in Hungaroring and a 5th place finished in Paul Ricard.

The weekend Schedule icludes a qualyfing and a race on Saturday and Sunday. The competition will be at 8:40 am on Saturday and at 5:50 am on Sunday. It can be watch live on f3open.net

Tatiana says: “I get to Barcelona eager as it is one of the circuits that I know the most in the Calendar and I just came from doing the Formula Renault Alps in this same scenario. I think I have clear now where I need to be fast in order to end the season on a high.”

“Two weeks ago we did two days of testing in Albacete and I think we found some really intersting things about the car set up, which we think would help as challenge the top 3 guys. As always our main goal is to improve our best results in order to show what we have achieved during this 2012 season.“
