Colombian racing driver Tatiana Calderón has been selected to represent Citroën Racing in the FIA Formula E women-only test session. This important event will take place on October 31, 2025, at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia.
This occasion marks a historic milestone: it will be the first time a woman drives a Citroën racing single-seater.
Cyril Blais, Team Principal of Citroën Racing Formula E, emphasized the significance of the event:
“Having a woman behind the wheel of a Citroën single-seater for the first time is an important and inspiring milestone. Tatiana’s experience, technical understanding, and determination make her the perfect representative for this occasion, where we need to combine talent and courage with a very steady pair of hands on the wheel. We have no doubt she will rise to the challenge.”
Tatiana Calderón, who brings extensive experience from Formula 1, Formula 2, IndyCar, and previous Formula E test sessions, joins the FIA’s initiative to promote female talent in top-level motorsport.
Tatiana Calderón:
“I’m incredibly proud to be the first woman to drive a Citroën single-seater. This test is a fantastic platform to showcase what I can bring as a driver in this amazing category and to contribute to the car’s development before the team makes its debut in Brazil. I’m very grateful for the opportunity and excited to get back on track!” said the driver.
The Valencia test is crucial for Citroën Racing to assess emerging talent and collect essential performance data ahead of the start of Season 12 in Brazil this December.
